Rust is a monthly serial intended to keep up with tattooing trends. Their brand ideals were moody, graphic, and clean. The brand itself moves through specific colours depending on the months.
The brand wanted this reflected in an illustrated cover, as well as a logo that mimicked common tattoo script while maintaining interest.
